Dallas TX Lofts

Many cities throughout the US, including Boston, Dallas, and New York are experiencing a major urban renewal with the conversion of industrial spaces to warehouse lofts. Developers have taken formerly empty spaces within close proximity to the central business districts and created unique residential and commercial loft living that initially appealed to artists and bohemians. As more and more buildings have been converted to warehouse lofts, this lifestyle is drawing interest from first time renters to empty nesters.

Warehouse style lofts have soaring ceilings, original industrial windows, polished concrete or hardwood floors. In keeping with the industrial feel most also have exposed brick walls and open floor plans that allow residents creativity in configuring the space for their personal use. Loft living has created a new industry for furniture and decorative items that are more geared to this eclectic lifestyle.

Referred to as warehouse districts, design districts or arts districts these areas are generating renewed interest in fostering a sense of community. With amenities such as rooftop decks, gardens, on-site fitness centers, and close proximity to the bar, restaurant or social scene, these lofts are quickly gaining popularity.
